Will B&Q Cut MDF?: The timber cutting service uses vertical panel saws that are designed only for wood based panels. This means that the saws cannot be used on B&Q fence panels, doors, lattices, plasterboard, mineral based boards, thick timber or structural timber.

Can B&Q Colour Match From a Photo?: If there is a colour that you love and want to have it for your home, the B&Q paint mixing service can deliver it to you. All you need is a sample of the colour whether it is a photo, a piece of fabric or a piece of furniture, you just need the surface to be 0.5cm in diameter. Bear in mind that a photo has a shiny surface and things like the lighting and exposure used to take the photo may affect the sample so it is recommended that the colour is solid to get the best results.

Can B&Q Cut Wood to Size?: Absolutely! B&Q have a timber cutting service where you can get timber brought from B&Q cut to any size you need. So if you need some wood cutting to an awkward size, head to a B&Q store and you can get your doors cut right away, no appointment needed. Minimum panel length and height is 500mm by 230mm and maximum is 3300mm by 2160mm.

How Much are B&Q Kitchens?: On the B&Q website you can choose a full fitted kitchen with the Pasilla Matt White Thin Frame design being the cheapest at £766 for an 8 unit galley style kitchen. If you need more units for your space the 11 unit style is £1140.50 and the 16 unit design is £1674. If you don’t need the full fitted kitchen but just cabinets or a new worktop, you can shop these separately with B&Q kitchen units starting at £19 and worktops starting at £138. How Much is B&Q Cutting Service?: You can get 15 cuts on your timber for free then cuts will cost 50p each after that.

How Much is B&Q Paint Mixing?:The Valspar paint mixing service is absolutely free so whatever colour you want to transform your space can be made from your sample free of charge. All you need to do is purchase your paint after it’s been mixed. Valspar paints cost between £20 and £45 depending on how many litres you need for your project. If you want to test a few colours before deciding on your final transformation, tester pots will cost you £3 each.

Can B&Q Vouchers be Used at Screwfix?: You can only redeem your B&Q vouchers or e-vouchers in B&Q stores in the UK or on diy.com. This does not include concessions and cafe’s within stores. Will B&Q Exchange Without a Receipt?: If you change your mind on a product that you have brought from B&Q that is absolutely fine and you can return it within 135 days as long as it is in the same condition as it was when you purchased it.
