Can Boots Prescribe Antibiotics?: Any prescriptions whether they are one off or repeat will need to be sent to the pharmacy by your GP. you can then visit your local Boots chemist to have the medication you need dispensed to you. This does include antibiotics so if you think you need antibiotics to help with an illness, make an appointment with your GP for more advice.
Will Boots Take Old Medicines?: Yes, if you have some old medicines that you’d like to get rid of, you can take them to your local pharmacy for the proper disposal. You however can’t get a refund on unwanted medications.
