Help care for 400 poorly children across the North West and vote for Derian House

This January, you can help to care for seriously-ill children from the North West of England by voting for Derian House Children’s Hospice. This wonderful charity are participating in the My Favourite Voucher Codes charity poll this month for the opportunity to win a donation.

What Does Derian House Do?

Derian House cares for more than 400 babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions. The children and young people they care for come from across the whole of Lancashire, South Cumbria and North Manchester.

They have done this 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the last 30 years and never close to those who need them. Caring for the whole family – from pregnancy and birth up to the age of 26.

They offer emotional and practical support to parents, siblings, and grandparents who need it.

How Will The Donation Help Derian House?

If you vote for Derian House, funding could go towards giving families the chance to enjoy a splash session in the charity’s hydrotherapy pool; it could pay for a fun afternoon in the ball pit; in the state-of-the-art sensory room; or play time in our fully accessible gardens. It could pay for a music session, or even send a family on what could be their last holiday together.

It will cost £6 million to run services at Derian House in 2023. We rely on the generosity of our supporters for 70p in every £1, receiving just under 30% of our funding from the government. For the rest, we rely heavily on the generosity of our friends within the community to help us keep our doors open to those who need us.

How Can I Support Derian House?
