How To Throw The Perfect Party
Take a number of aspects into account when preparing to host a big bash. Whatever the occasion is there are fundamentals that should be stuck to.
Organising a party from top to bottom can become a rather stressful task and that’s why it’s good to bear a few things in mind. First of all be sure to plan.
· Write down a to-do list
· Have an idea of a theme (if there is one)
· Think about a location before you start other party ideas
The beginning stages will obviously consist of a lot of phone-calls, bookings, buying of supplies and getting in touch with potential guests. Here we break down some of the categories that should be thought about.
Location
The place where the party takes place should be most convenient for the person who is celebrating their occasion. With that said it could be key to keep in mind who’s been invited and how realistic it is for them to get there.
If you host it at a house then start thinking about logistics, will it be in the garden? If so, have them walk around the side if possible rather than treading mud through your home. Place seating arrangements but don’t worry about getting one for everyone as most will stay standing when they interact.
Food
Can you even call it a party if there is no food plans in place? You may plan a buffet or barbecue, at very least make a plan to order food in. Everyone can chip in but it’s something that should be thought about. Another option is to ask all guests to bring food or contribute barbecue food.
Music
A band and DJ will obviously enhance the party tenfold but it doesn’t mean it’s required. In this day and age it’s easy for us to hook up our playlist from our device and play a mixture of everything. Get speakers for your place and if you have Bluetooth accessories you will be able to take turns controlling the playlist. It’s an important part of the party, as people may want to dance or even have background noise. This will directly affect the ambience of the gathering so decide on genres for different periods of the day/night. Decorations
You’ll want to decorate the venue even if it is at your home. What will you need?
· Table decorations
· Banners
· Balloons
