Help Sick, Injured and Disabled Animals Around the World with Miracle’s Mission
Taking part in the My Favourite Voucher Codes August charity poll, we have the incredible animal welfare charity Miracle’s Mission, whose mission it is to help animals in need worldwide. They provide safety to dogs and cats in danger, educate people on the benefits of neutering pets and stray animals and help rehome dogs, in particular those with disabilities. This August you can help Miracle’s Mission to win a donation of 20% of our profits by voting for them in our charity poll. Find out more about Miracle’s Mission below and see how your vote can help dogs and cats in need.
Who Does Miracle’s Mission Do?
Miracle’s Mission helps animals in need all over the world, primarily working in the UK, Borneo and Egypt to help the population of stray dogs. Formed in 2015, the charity was started by Victoria Bryceson following her trip to Borneo, where she became aware of the large street dog population. Whilst working at an animal shelter in Borneo, Victoria saw that dogs and cats were being left unneutered leading to more and more animals being born into a hard life on the streets. Miracle’s Mission was thus created to help neuter stray animals and limit the number of cats and dogs struggling to survive on the streets.
Rehoming
Miracle’s Mission rehome dogs with cats, many of whom have disabilities. Their challenges range from partial paralysis to deafness, and they provide advice and tips on how to care for disabled dogs on their Tips page. They also fund initial vet assessments and wheels or prosthetics if the animal adopter needs, and they carry out 2 home checks (1 before the adoption and 1, 1 month after the adoption) to ensure that the adopter and their new animal companion are happy and settled together.
You can find out more about the rehoming process, what goes into adopting an animal from abroad and see their current animals up for adoption on their Rehoming page.
How Can I Support Miracle’s Mission?
This August you can help this incredible charity by voting for them in the My Favourite Voucher Codes poll. You can help them win a donation of 20% of our profits this month, and it won’t cost you a penny. Plus, it only takes a second. Simply head over to our Homepage and scroll down until you see the poll. Cast your vote and help them to help more animals in need.
There are other ways you can support their incredible work too, for example by Volunteering in the UK, Borneo or Egypt. There are opportunities to volunteer as a vet or vet assistant, helping with neutering of stray animals or helping to carry out prosthetics/procedures on disabled dogs.
If you can provide a home for a disabled or non-disabled animal in need, then get in touch with the team via the adoption page linked above. If you can’t rehome a cat or dog permanently, then they are also in need of Fosterers to care for animals whilst they wait for their forever home.
They also have an online Shop where you can find a variety of gifts, books, t-shirts, stationary and more. All profits go towards Miracle’s Mission and help them to care for dogs and cats in need.
Finally, Donations are always needed to help provide for the animals in their care. The cost of bringing stray animals from abroad, caring for animals day to day and providing specialist care for disabled animals are incredibly high, so any donations or Fundraising efforts are greatly appreciated.
How Can I Find Out More about Miracle’s Mission?
