How Your Vote for the RFU Injured Players Foundation can Help Injured Players and Their Families.
This July, the RFU Injured Players Foundation are one of four charities participating in our monthly charity poll. They will be competing to win 20% of My Favourite Voucher Codes profits, hoping to get the most votes from the public in order to win! Find out more about the RFU Injured Players Foundation (IPF) below, and see how your vote can help support injured players and their families.
Who Are the RFU Injured Players Foundation?
The IPF provides support and information to rugby players in England who sustain a catastrophic spinal cord injury or acute severe traumatic brain injury playing the game, and help prevent future injuries through vital research. Assistance is available to any player, from grassroots up to professional level, to empower them to lead their lives as fully and
independently as they are able to. The IPF is there for the player, family, friends and club immediately after injury and for the rest of their lives.
The IPF is continually funding research to make breakthroughs to understand how we can improve the care of the injured player and make the game of rugby safer with the vision to allow everyone to play the game without catastrophic injuries occurring.
The IPF offers to help individuals who sustain injuries whilst playing rugby that are not classed as catastrophic spinal cord injury or a traumatic brain injury, by providing information and where possible by relieving financial hardship.
