What Does Shine Lincolnshire Do?

Shine Lincolnshire is a mental health and wellbeing charity dedicated to supporting individuals of all ages, and communities across Lincolnshire. Since 2011 they have continued to grow and expand, consistently working to support individuals and community organisations large and small.

What Does Shine Lincolnshire Do?

The organisation provides resources, information, and support to those facing mental health challenges, promoting self-care and resilience. They work collaboratively with other local agencies and organisations to create a supportive network, fostering greater awareness and reducing stigma around mental health issues within the community.  

Shine achieves this in multiple ways. They deliver a range of services including grant administration, peer support, information sharing and community infrastructure support and training and development across mental, physical and suicide first aid. They represent the third sector across strategic platforms in Lincolnshire including the Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism Executive Alliance which aims to set the strategic direction for support in Lincolnshire.

Additionally, through all their programmes of work, they engage the public, organisations and stakeholders to drive change and strive to continually improve the health and wellbeing of Lincolnshire.
