Vote for Move On and Help Empower People to Build Brighter Futures
This November, you can help people reach their full potential through training, education, and work experience by voting for Move On in the My Favourite Voucher Codes Charity Poll. This incredible charity helps people to thrive despite barriers such as poor physical or mental health, recovery from addiction, or little to no work experience. With your vote, Move On could win 20% of our profits this month — helping them change even more lives across Scotland.

Who Are Move On?
Move On is a charity dedicated to helping people gain the skills, confidence, and experience they need to move towards employment, education, or volunteering. They work with individuals who face multiple barriers, including care experience, homelessness, criminal justice involvement, and low self-esteem.
Their mission is simple: to offer everyone an equal chance to reach their full potential, no matter what challenges they face.
Building Brighter Futures
One of Move On’s flagship projects, Building Brighter Futures, helps young people aged 16–21 kickstart their careers in the construction industry. Through this programme, participants can gain practical skills, qualifications, and valuable site experience. They receive certified manual handling training, a CSCS card (essential for site work), and personalised support to find further education or employment.
This programme doesn’t just build practical skills — it builds confidence, self-belief, and brighter futures.
Training for Work
The Training for Work programme gives people aged 16+ hands-on experience in a busy warehouse environment, along with a range of industry-recognised qualifications. Participants learn everything from health and safety to CV writing, helping them become job-ready and confident about their next steps.
Drivers Employability Training Scheme
For young people who dream of a driving career, Move On’s Drivers Employability Training Scheme helps turn that goal into reality. This programme covers everything from driving lessons to forklift training, van conversion experience, and full support to pass both theory and practical tests. By the end, participants have the qualifications and experience they need to start a sustainable driving career.
Paid Work Placements
Move On also runs Paid Work Placements that provide real work experience at the Real Living Wage. Each participant receives ongoing, one-to-one support to help them succeed during and beyond the placement. This initiative not only offers income but also provides structure, skills, and the confidence to maintain long-term employment.
Way Ahead
For adults aged 29 and over, Way Ahead supports people in Glasgow who have been impacted by homelessness, addiction recovery, or involvement with the criminal justice system. The service helps individuals access education, volunteering, and employment opportunities, improving both their job prospects and quality of life.
