Vote for PEEK: Helping Children and Families Thrive
I'm the Charity Coordinator at My Favourite Voucher Codes, and every month I pick a shortlist of charities for our poll. For May 2026, one of them is PEEK — Possibilities for Each and Every Kid.
They’re based in Glasgow, and PEEK works with children, young people, and families to enhance life opportunities. Its primary focus is supporting individuals experiencing isolation and poverty, while promoting positive wellbeing through play, creative arts, and education, enabling people to make informed life choices.
They're in our May poll alongside three other charities, and I think they're worth your vote. Here's why.

Who PEEK Are
PEEK have been working in Glasgow since 2000. That's over 25 years of supporting communities through play and creative engagement — which is worth saying, because it's easy to assume charities like this are small and new. They're not. They've been quietly doing this for a long time.
Their vision is straightforward: children, young people, and families free from poverty and inequality. Their mission is to improve life chances. And they do that through four core programmes — Play, Create, Thrive, and Wellbeing.
They also don't just focus on the child. They support the whole family, recognising that meaningful and lasting change is best achieved when all members of the family are supported.
What They Do Day to Day
PEEK's work breaks down into four areas:
Play — They bring year-round play opportunities to community spaces and schools across Glasgow. And they're clear that play is for everyone, regardless of age, ability, or background. It's not just for young kids. It's for anyone who needs it.
Create — This one covers arts and crafts, dance, theatre, photography, and more. But it's not just about keeping kids busy. The creative programmes are designed to help people express themselves and explore issues that actually matter to them and their communities.
Thrive — This is aimed at young people specifically. Volunteering, drop-ins, holiday programmes, and tailored school projects. It's about giving young people space to grow, connect with others, and figure out what they're capable of.
Wellbeing — This is where the support gets really practical. Food provision, financial help, mental health support. The stuff that families need to just get through the week. Because none of the other programmes work if the basics aren't there.
Together, those four programmes cover a lot of ground. And that's the point — PEEK aren't trying to fix one thing. They're trying to support the whole person, and the whole family.
Why They're in Our May Poll
A lot of families are under real pressure right now. Costs are high, services are stretched, and for people already dealing with poverty or isolation, it can feel like a lot.
PEEK steps into that gap. They've been doing it since 2000, and they're still going. That consistency matters. These aren't people who showed up recently with a big idea. They know their communities, they've built real relationships, and they understand what actually helps.
What Winning Actually Means for Them
The charity with the most votes in our May poll gets 20% of our profits for the month. That goes straight to their work.
For PEEK, that could mean more play sessions, more creative programmes, more support for young people through Thrive, and more practical help for families through their Wellbeing work. For a community charity like this, that kind of funding isn't a nice extra. It helps them keep going.
Other Ways to Help
Voting is the main thing, but it's not the only option.
You could share the poll with people you know. Post about it. Head to PEEK's website and read more about what they do. Make a direct donation if you're able to. Or fundraise for them.
Even just talking about them helps. Charities like this run on awareness as much as anything else.
How to Vote
No sign-up. No form. Completely free. Here's how:
- Go to our homepage
- Find the May Charity Poll — right-hand side on desktop, bottom of the page on mobile

That's it. Less than a minute. The poll runs from 1st May to 31st May 2026 and anyone can take part.
One Last Thing
PEEK do solid, important work with families who need it. No big promises. Just consistent support for people going through hard times, backed by 25 years of experience in the communities they serve.
If you've got a minute, please vote for them. And if you can share it too — brilliant. The more votes they get, the better their chance of receiving a real donation this month.
Small actions, adding up.
