What is National Black Cat Day?

Most of us didn’t even realise there was a specific day dedicated to our feline friends, but it turns out that today is National Black Cat Day. What is this day all about and what can you do on this national day?

October 27^th is the official day for black cats, who’d have thought such a day would exist? Believe it or not, there seems to be some unintentional prejudice against black cats. It could be a result of superstitions and myths that have circulated for centuries. The connotation of this type of cat is evil omens and if one crosses our path, then we will be greeted with misfortune and misery. But, how can that be when most find them so cute?
