Vote for Trinity Hospice and Help Support Vital Hospice Care
This October, our charity poll gives you another opportunity to support a brilliant UK cause simply by casting a free vote. One of the four charities in the My Favourite Voucher Codes October 2026 Charity Poll is Trinity Hospice, a charity providing specialist palliative and end-of-life care to people across the Fylde Coast.
Trinity Hospice supports around 8,000 people every year, helping patients and their loved ones through what can be an incredibly difficult and uncertain time. Its work also challenges some of the assumptions people have about hospice care. Rather than simply being somewhere people go at the very end of life, Trinity provides care in the hospice, in hospital, out in the community and in people's own homes.
Throughout October, you can vote for Trinity Hospice in our poll. Voting is completely free, there is no registration or sign-up required, and the charity with the most votes at the end of the month will receive 20% of our October profits as a donation.
Trinity Hospice is taking part in our October Charity Poll
Every month at My Favourite Voucher Codes, we feature four charities in our public charity poll. Visitors choose the organisation they would most like to receive our monthly donation, giving people a simple way to support a cause without having to spend or donate any of their own money.
For October 2026, Trinity Hospice is one of those four charities.
Voting remains open throughout October, and every vote contributes towards the final result. The charity that finishes the month with the highest number of votes will receive 20% of our profits for October.

What does Trinity Hospice do?
Trinity Hospice provides specialist palliative care for people living with serious and life-limiting illnesses across the Fylde Coast.
An important part of Trinity's approach is seeing the person rather than simply their diagnosis. Care is tailored around individual needs and can include physical, emotional and spiritual support. The aim is to improve quality of life, manage symptoms and relieve some of the stress that serious illness can bring for patients and those closest to them.
Hospice care is also broader than many people realise. Trinity supports people with a range of conditions, including cancer, serious cardiac and respiratory conditions and motor neurone disease. Its care can also help older patients living with frailty, mobility difficulties and dementia.
Around 8,000 people are touched by Trinity's services each year, but that doesn't mean thousands of people are staying in the hospice itself. In fact, much of the charity's work happens elsewhere.
What services does Trinity Hospice offer?
Trinity's work covers considerably more than in-patient care.
At the hospice, its specialist doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals can provide 24-hour care for up to 20 patients. The charity also runs its Living Well Service, with clinics and groups designed to help people live as well as possible following a life-limiting diagnosis.
Other support includes:
- Hospice at Home care
- Community Clinical Nurse Specialists
- Specialist hospital-based palliative care
- Dementia support through an Admiral Nurse
- Complementary therapies
- A specialist lymphoedema clinic
- Spiritual care
- Counselling and emotional support
- Pre and post-bereavement support for adults
- Support for children and young people affected by illness and bereavement
This range of services reflects something that can easily be overlooked when talking about hospice care. Serious illness doesn't affect one person in isolation. Partners, children, parents, friends and carers can all feel its impact, which is why support for loved ones forms an important part of Trinity's work too.
Who can receive support from Trinity Hospice?
Trinity's patients come from different backgrounds, faiths and communities across the Fylde Coast.
The charity also works to reach people who can sometimes face additional barriers to accessing palliative care. This can include people without a permanent address and those experiencing drug or alcohol problems who may not have somebody available to advocate on their behalf.
Its principle is straightforward: hospice care should be accessible to everyone who needs it.
Most patients are referred to Trinity through a GP or another healthcare professional, with the type of support provided depending on the person's individual circumstances.
How is Trinity Hospice funded?
Hospice care sits outside the NHS, although Trinity receives some statutory funding and works closely with local healthcare and social care services.
However, voluntary contributions are essential to maintaining its services.
This makes fundraising and community support particularly important. Donations help charities such as Trinity continue providing specialist staff, facilities and services for patients and families at a time when they may need them most.
That's also why we're pleased to give Trinity Hospice the opportunity to take part in our October poll.
Can I help Trinity Hospice without donating money?
Absolutely.
Voting in our October poll is one simple way to do it, but sharing the poll can be just as valuable.
If Trinity Hospice is the charity you'd like to see win, send the poll to family and friends, share it on social media or mention it to somebody who may also want to support its work. Each person can then make their own choice and cast a free vote.
Spreading the word gives more people the opportunity to discover Trinity's work while helping the charity compete for our October donation.
