Raise Money For Disabled People with Revitalise
Revitalise is a national charity providing respite holidays for disabled people and carers.. These holidays are located at their respite holiday centres in Chigwell in Essex, Southampton and Southport. At the heart of Revitalise is the belief that everybody needs a break.
With support from care experts and volunteers they offer unique activities to engage everyone and create a friendly environment. A Revitalise holiday goes beyond the traditional notion of respite to give its guests a break that feels like a proper holiday.
Carers can either come with the person they care for, or take a break away themselves knowing their loved one is safe and having a brilliant time - whether that’s out to the theatre, learning how to fly, going boating or the simple pleasure of a lovely meal with new friends in a relaxed and comfortable environment.
It is this unique approach that brings to life the simple experience of happiness for many disabled people and carers – an environment where people, staff, volunteers and guests are free to richly associate with each other.
Volunteers and Hardship Funding
Revitalise is also blessed with the largest residential volunteering programme of any UK charity, welcoming thousands of vibrant volunteers every year. In many ways, volunteers are the charity’s magic ingredient, helping to create the lively, social atmosphere that so many of its guests have come to know and love.
For disabled people and their carers, respite is essential to their lives. Without it, relationships can often struggle under the stress of everyday life. With help of Revitalise’s hardship funding, disabled people and carers can enjoy a much-needed break.
How Your Vote Will Help
It is thanks to the generosity of their wonderful supporters that the charity can continue to provide breaks for those who need it most, make improvements to their centres and provide all the little touches that make their breaks unique and unforgettable.
Your support will go towards hardship funding, enabling more disabled people and carers to take life-enhancing respite breaks with the charity. If you would like to find out more about Revitalise visit their website here.
