About 4Louis

This UK based charity are dedicated to supporting anybody who has sadly experienced miscarriage, stillbirth and the death of a baby or a child. This organisation was founded by Louis’ family back in 2009, as at the time his family found it very difficult to find support and memory making after his stillbirth at 38 weeks gestation. Ever since then, helping families with these difficult experiences has been the mission of the charity and they have supported many since.4Louis are providing staff the tools and equipment they need to be able to care for bereaved families whilst helping them capturing the precious memories they had with their baby or child. 

What Support Do 4Louis Offer?

4Louis is here to ensure that parents do not feel isolated after a baby has passed away. They support families by offering memory boxes, where the families are able to create and keep memories of their baby or child. They also offer group craft days where the families can feel understood by those who have also experienced the passing away of a baby. These run in different locations Monday to Friday, and this is where the memory boxes are made accompanied by a cuppa and some biscuits. 

Personal support is also available. Although those within the charity are not qualified Councillors, they certainly have the compassion, empathy and experience to help you through this difficult time either face to face, over the phone or via an email. 

How Can I Get Involved With 4Louis

Even if you only have a couple of hours per month, this will make a huge difference in the life of the charity and those seeking support. You can get involved in multiple ways such as becoming an ambassador where you would be raising awareness of miscarriage, stillbirth and child death. You would also be working with businesses in your area to fundraise for the organisation with which you would be making an incredible difference in the charity’s life and those who have recently lost a baby. There are many other ways you can get involved such as creating your own fundraising event, skydiving for the charity, as well as getting involved online and even volunteering in one of the workshops.
