What Does Changing Lives Do?
The aptly named charity Changing Lives seeks to do just that; change lives. They believe that everyone should have the opportunity to live a happy, fulfilling life and be able to reach their potential without the all-too-common obstacles we see people face every day.
These obstacles include, but are not limited to, social isolation, deprivation, poverty, homelessness, addiction, and mental health. These obstacles also often overlap and interconnect, making it incredibly difficult for many people to live a fulfilling life. Therefore they take a holistic approach to helping others, helping the entire person rather than just treating their problems. Changing Lives provide a number of services for people in need of support, from accommodation to addiction rehabilitation, and they help around 14,000 people per year.
They have been providing these much-needed services for over 50 years, and they have over 600 staff members on hand to help those in need. If you vote for Changing Lives this April, you can help them to support even more people in dark places to enjoy a brighter future.
