Facebook Allow Small Companies To Sell Through Their Page
It was last year when Facebook launched a service enabling vendors to sell their products via paid advertisements. But now companies can directly sell through their page.
The new rulings now entitle small companies in emerging markets to sell through their page meaning that many businesses may be able to capitalise on new e-commerce opportunities. The latest regulations will aid the growth of e-commerce markets outside of the US and Canada.
How The Service Works?
It’s a fairly simple one and many of you may have seen how the new layout for pages is set. They now make it easy to ‘shop now’ or ‘sign up’. That is what users are presented with on different pages. This is now a free service for small businesses and could help them reach their demographics with ease, this could also be advantageous for Facebook.
Why Facebook Are Now Allowing This?
Facebook continues to make huge growth as they boast rising advertising figures. Companies consistently use their website in an attempt to get their brand recognised by customers. You can see why a company would use these services too, but with the advertisement users increasing, the latest move will only boost it some more. There are more than 60 million businesses using their service worldwide already. Facebook’s fastest growing region is South East Asia but despite this America leads the way for most cash generated via adverts. So quite simply providing these emerging markets with a free platform to sell means that it could aid Facebook’s advertisement growth, a service that has already been making fantastic progress for the social media giant.
Other Outlets For Small Companies
Building a small business from the bottom upwards is no easy feat and many companies need all the exposure they can get. Acting on Facebook’s latest service could prove beneficial and for many shops or website’s that require a sign-up it could be more than useful. But expanding a company takes far more than just a presence via Facebook, you will firstly need somewhere to direct them to, a website. Do more than just sit back and wait for Facebook to direct traffic or sales, get out of your comfort zone and create a huge online presence. You can get your domain name, hosting and other traffic boosting services with GoDaddy, 123-Reg and MyMemory.
