Help to Improve the Lives of Children and Young People with Disabilities by Voting for Rainbow Hub this February

This February, Rainbow Hub are one of four charities participating in our monthly charity poll. They hope to receive the most votes from the public to help them win 20% of My Favourite Voucher Codes profits!

What Does Rainbow Hub Do?

Rainbow Hub first opened in 2001 and has provided specialist services to children and young people with physical and neurological disabilities from across the North-West ever since.

The charity exists to improve the lives of children and young people’s lives who face significant additional challenges due to their issues with movement and mobility. They provide a specialist approach to learning known as ‘Conductive Education’ that helps service-users to develop life-skills and live more active and independent lives. In addition, the charity also provides a communication service, as well as Rebound Therapy (carried out on a specialist trampoline) and a Family Support service. A special needs nursery opened in 2021 and they have opened a special needs school in their existing premises whilst a purpose-built building is currently being created!

Essentially all of the services offered at Rainbow Hub help children and young people with disabilities to achieve their individual potential.

Who Does Rainbow Hub Help?

All of the families accessing Rainbow Hub have a child with a physical disability, caused by neurological conditions or brain injury (caused before, during or after birth).

In the last year alone, the charity has helped 146 children/young people with disabilities and their families from across the North-West.

Rainbow Hub has a positive impact upon the entire family unit… Not only does the child/young person benefit from attending the services but families also benefit via practical help and guidance, and emotional support. Rainbow Hub really does change lives.
