How Shorefield Discounts Actually Work
Shorefield uses several different types of saving. Some are public promotions, while others are aimed at Blue Light members, NHS staff, teachers, the armed forces or returning guests. The rules are not the same for every offer.
For example, Shorefield's current 15% Blue Light, military and teacher discount codes applies to new bookings and can be used on peak dates, but it cannot normally be combined with another offer. Returning guests have separate schemes, including Book Before You Leave and Book Now Stay Later, with their own conditions.
That makes the price already attached to the holiday important. A 15% customer discount can be less valuable than a holiday that has already been reduced by 20% or 30%.

A Real Shorefield Holiday Price Check
We checked a four-night stay for two adults at Shorefield Country Park, arriving on 5 October 2026. A two-bedroom Statement caravan was listed at £342.34, down from a previous displayed price of £427.93.
| Booking | Price |
|---|---|
| Shorefield Country Park | Statement 2 caravan |
| Stay | 5-9 October 2026, 2 adults |
| Previous displayed price | £427.93 |
| Price when checked | £342.34 |
| Price difference | £85.59 |
On this booking, taking 15% from the previous £427.93 price would produce a price of about £363.74. The displayed sale price was already around £21.40 lower than that.
It is only one booking snapshot, not a rule for every Shorefield holiday, but it shows why comparing the live holiday price matters before choosing a discount route.

How Much Does the Accommodation Choice Change the Price?
The accommodation can have a much bigger effect on the cost than a small voucher. For the same Shorefield Country Park dates above, several two-bedroom options were available at very different prices.
| Accommodation | Previous price | Price checked |
|---|---|---|
| Statement 2 caravan | £427.93 | £342.34 |
| Serendipity 2 caravan | £481.58 | £385.26 |
| Supreme 2 caravan | £602.30 | £481.84 |
| Sublime 2 caravan with hot tub | £841.14 | £672.91 |
| Select+ 2 lodge | £919.03 | £735.22 |
The gap between the cheapest option in this sample and the Select+ lodge was £392.88. The Sublime caravan also cost considerably more because it included features such as a private hot tub.
For a customer who is flexible about accommodation, comparing grades can therefore save more than concentrating on a small percentage difference between vouchers.
Does Changing Shorefield Park Change the Price?
Shorefield operates several holiday parks across Hampshire and Dorset, including Shorefield Country Park, Oakdene Forest Park, Forest Edge, Swanage Coastal Park, Wilksworth and Merley Court. The price can vary between them, but there is no reliable rule that one park will always be the cheapest.
Accommodation mix is part of the reason. One park may have more lower-cost caravans available for a particular weekend, while another may have more lodges, hot tub accommodation or touring pitches left. Promotions can also apply differently across dates and parks.
When comparing parks, use the same dates, stay length and nearest equivalent accommodation rather than comparing headline "from" prices. Even moving from one two-bedroom caravan grade to another can change the cost by considerably more than a small voucher saving.
Compare Shorefield holiday parks and availability.
Shorefield Sells More Than Standard Caravan Breaks
Depending on the park and dates, Shorefield offers caravans, lodges, houses, glamping stays, treehouses, shepherd huts and touring or camping pitches.
Touring and camping have a different cost structure from self-catering. Shorefield states that pitch pricing includes up to six people and one vehicle, while holiday-home prices vary according to accommodation grade, size and features such as decking or hot tubs.
View Shorefield's current accommodation and touring options.
How Much Space Do You Actually Need?
Choosing accommodation by capacity rather than simply booking a higher grade can make a significant difference. In our Shorefield Country Park price check for 5-9 October 2026, a two-bedroom Statement caravan sleeping up to four was listed at £342.34. A three-bedroom Supreme caravan sleeping up to six was £512.99.
The extra bedroom added £170.65 to the displayed price in that comparison. For a larger family or group it may be necessary, but a couple or family of four would be paying for space they may not need.
The choice becomes wider again with lodges, hot tub caravans, houses, treehouses and shepherd huts. Check the number of beds, maximum occupancy and features you will actually use rather than comparing accommodation purely by its grade name.
Touring and camping work differently again. Because a pitch can include up to six people and one vehicle, customers travelling with their own tent, caravan or motorhome should compare the total pitch price with the cost of a holiday home for the same group.
When Is a Cheaper Time to Stay at Shorefield?
Shorefield prices quieter dates below many peak periods, so flexibility can be worth more than waiting for a different voucher. The company describes its low-season breaks as some of its best-value stays, while school holidays and popular summer dates generally sit at the more expensive end of the range.
There is not enough like-for-like public data to claim that one particular month is always cheapest. A more useful approach is to search the same park and accommodation across a few nearby dates. Moving a break outside a school holiday or from a busy weekend to a quieter period can change the underlying price before any voucher is applied.
Check Shorefield's current low-season and promotional prices.
How Much More Can Peak Dates Cost?
One useful comparison comes from Forest Edge Holiday Park. A two-bedroom Supreme caravan for two adults was listed at £343.31 for two nights from 10 July 2026. The same accommodation grade was listed at £547.80 for two nights from 21 August 2026, during the school summer holidays.
| Forest Edge Supreme caravan | Price checked |
|---|---|
| 10-12 July 2026 | £343.31 |
| 21-23 August 2026 | £547.80 |
| Difference | £204.49 |
In this example, the August stay cost almost 60% more despite being the same park, accommodation grade and length of stay. It is one comparison rather than a fixed seasonal rule, but the difference is large enough to show why dates deserve as much attention as the voucher percentage.
Families tied to school holidays can still compare different arrival days, parks and the first or last week of a school break to look for a lower price.
Are Last-Minute Shorefield Holidays Always Cheaper?
Not necessarily. Shorefield promotes last-minute breaks and can discount remaining availability heavily, but waiting does not guarantee the lowest price.
Shortly before an October 2026 stay, we found the Statement caravan at Shorefield Country Park reduced from £427.93 to £342.34. Shorefield was also promoting significant reductions on selected remaining end-of-season breaks.
The trade-off is choice. Waiting can leave fewer parks, accommodation grades, hot tub properties or suitable dates. A heavily reduced break is not much use if the remaining accommodation does not meet the needs of the people travelling.
For flexible customers, last-minute availability is worth checking. Families restricted to school holidays, larger groups or customers wanting a particular accommodation type may prefer having more choice earlier.

Extra Costs That Can Change What You Pay
A Shorefield booking can include charges beyond the accommodation price, particularly for pets, optional extras or later changes.
| Extra | Current charge |
|---|---|
| Pet in self-catering accommodation | £9 per pet, per night |
| Pet on a touring or camping booking | £3 per pet, per night |
| Selecting a particular self-catering holiday home | £50 per stay |
| Selecting a particular touring or camping pitch | £10 per night, capped at £70 |
| Major booking amendment | £25, plus any increase in the replacement booking |
Blue Badge holders are exempt from the charge for selecting a specific holiday home or pitch when the required proof is provided. Registered assistance dogs are also not charged.
Check Shorefield's pet charges or read the current booking terms.
How Much Is a Pets Go Free Offer Really Worth?
Because Shorefield normally charges £9 per pet, per night on self-catering holidays, a pets-go-free promotion can have a meaningful cash value rather than being just an added perk.
| Example | Normal pet charge |
|---|---|
| 1 dog, 4-night self-catering break | £36 |
| 2 dogs, 4-night self-catering break | £72 |
| 1 dog, 7-night self-catering break | £63 |
| 2 dogs, 7-night self-catering break | £126 |
For someone travelling with two dogs on a seven-night self-catering holiday, free pets could remove £126 from the normal booking cost. That can be worth more than a small percentage voucher on a lower-priced caravan break.
Shorefield has included pets for free in selected promotions, including self-catering, touring and camping breaks, so it is worth considering the value of the pet saving alongside the accommodation price.
Discounts for Blue Light Members and Returning Guests
Some customers have saving routes that are separate from the public offers listed at the top of this page.
- Blue Light, NHS, emergency services, military and teaching staff: Shorefield currently offers 15% off qualifying new bookings, including peak dates, with proof required.
- Guests booking again before leaving: Book Before You Leave currently includes 15% off and a price guarantee if the same park, accommodation grade and arrival date later appears at a lower price.
- Guests booking shortly after a stay: Book Now Stay Later currently provides 15% off when the next break is booked within one month of departure. Shorefield states that this can include holidays that are already discounted.
- Frequent visitors: guests who have stayed at least five times during the previous five years can qualify for Shorefield's Privilege Club and its member benefits.
These schemes are useful to know about, but they should still be compared with the live sale price. A customer-specific discount is not automatically the lowest price on every set of dates.
Can Shorefield Offers Be Combined?
It depends on the promotion. Shorefield's standard Blue Light, military and teacher saving cannot be combined with another offer. Book Before You Leave also excludes other promotional codes and Privilege Club discounts.
Book Now Stay Later works differently: Shorefield says its 15% discount can be used on an already reduced holiday, although it cannot be combined with another promotional code or Privilege Club discount.
Shorefield also occasionally runs public sales where an additional voucher is deliberately offered on top of an existing reduction. The terms attached to the individual promotion therefore decide whether two savings can be used together.
What Happens If You Change or Cancel a Shorefield Booking?
Shorefield currently charges £25 for major amendments such as changing the dates or accommodation grade, plus any increase in the replacement holiday price.
For accommodation cancellations, the refund falls as the arrival date gets closer. Shorefield's current terms state:
- 8 weeks or more before arrival: 75% of payments refunded, less the deposit;
- 4-8 weeks before arrival: 50%, less the deposit;
- 1-4 weeks before arrival: 25%, less the deposit;
- less than one week before arrival: no refund.
Shorefield does not provide its own holiday insurance, so the cancellation terms are worth factoring into the overall cost of a higher-value lodge, house or family booking.

Shorefield Holidays Voucher Code FAQs
Can a Shorefield voucher code be used on a sale holiday?
Sometimes. Shorefield runs some promotions where an extra voucher can be added to an already reduced holiday, while other offers specifically rule this out. The terms of the individual promotion decide whether the savings can be combined.
Does Shorefield have a Blue Light discount?
Yes. Shorefield currently offers 15% off qualifying new holidays for Blue Light, NHS, emergency services, armed forces and teaching staff. Proof of eligibility is required.
Do returning customers get a Shorefield discount?
They can. Book Before You Leave is available during a current stay, while Book Now Stay Later is aimed at guests booking another break shortly after returning home. Frequent visitors may also qualify for the Privilege Club.
How much does Shorefield charge for dogs?
The current charge is £9 per pet, per night in self-catering accommodation and £3 per pet, per night on touring and camping bookings. Up to three pets can be included on eligible holiday-home bookings, while registered assistance dogs are free.
Is it cheaper to use a Shorefield voucher or book a sale price?
There is no fixed answer. In the real October 2026 booking we checked above, the displayed sale price was lower than taking 15% from the previous listed price. Other dates may work differently, so compare the final price rather than the percentage alone.
