Dreams Come True Charity work with children who have it tough. Their dreams makers work with these children to deliver dreams which bring moments of magic and lasting impact.

Right now, there are over 100,000 children who need their support. They live in the highest areas of deprivation in the country, some are living with a disability, some are living with serious illness, some are living with life-limiting conditions. These children deserve our attention. They believe every child has the right to dream, no matter who they are or where they live.

What Do Dreams Come True Do?

They create moments of magic and lasting impact through;

· Home Makeovers: Bedrooms and gardens reimagined by their team of dreams makers

· Community Space Makeovers: Sensory rooms and outdoor playgrounds for the whole community

· Getaways: Holidays and experience days built to inspire for the long run

· Small change, Big impact Programme: This programme aims to improve the daily lives of isolated children through access to vital equipment and technology.

Over the past 33 years they have fulfilled more than 6,500 dreams throughout the UK. Our entire focus is to directly support children who have it tough. Those who deserve our attention.

No other Wish Granting Organisation is singularly focused on supporting these children.

They fundamentally believe that every child and young person has a right to dream, no matter who they are, or where they live. Sadly, not everyone has that opportunity and when serious or life limiting illness occurs, those who are less fortunate are being left behind.

As you can imagine the impact of Covid-19 has made life even more difficult for these families.

Whilst it has felt like a very long 2 years for all of us, COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on our amazing Dreams families – having to self-isolate, missing out on education and having treatments delayed only adds to the worries and creates unimaginable levels of stress. For many there has also been a marked loss of income.

Their needs are even greater now – when they track the highest areas of COVID 19 across the UK and map the highest areas of deprivation, the result is a tragic match of deprivation and mortality.

That is why it is more important than ever that we do all we can.
