Who Are Food for Life Global? 

Food for Life Global help coordinate and expand the daily distribution of freshly prepared, plant-based meals all over the world to disadvantaged and malnourished people. FFLG also responds to natural disasters and major events such as the war in Ukraine. 

FFLG also helps by producing promotional materials and training programs to support our network of food relief affiliates in 60+ countries. 

In addition, they have Food for Life Global ambassadors who work tirelessly to strengthen relationships with governmental agencies, the media and the public through lectures, newspaper articles and their website. 

The Story of Food for Life Global

The dream of ending world hunger with plant-based food was born in India. It was here at Indian swami, Srila Prabhupada became discouraged at the sight of so many hungry people. The year was 1974. 

He told his yoga students, “no one within ten miles of a temple should go hungry…I want you to immediately begin serving food” His students started that day and now serve over 1 million plant-based meals a day. FFLG’s network has now given over 8 billion plant-based meals.

They only support teams who are able to prepare fresh, vegan meals, which are prepared with love! 

Their affiliates are able to accomplish this by keeping animal products out of the meals. This means that they can provide nourishing meals for only .50 pence each. So for the price of a fancy drive-thru coffee, you could feed 10 people!
