How your vote for The Survivors Trust can help victims and survivors of rape, sexual violence and sexual abuse
Support survivors of rape, sexual violence and sexual abuse by voting for The Survivors Trust this June in our charity poll. This June, The Survivors Trust is one of four charities participating in our monthly charity poll, and as the Charities Coordinator here at My Favourite Voucher Codes I can say that this incredible charity is well deserving of your votes. They will be competing to win 20% of My Favourite Voucher Codes profits, hoping to get the most votes from the public in order to win! Find out more about TST below, and see how your vote will help victims and survivors of sexual violence.

What is The Survivors Trust?
The Survivors Trust (TST) is a national membership organisation supporting specialist rape and sexual abuse services in the voluntary sector. They have 120 member organisations throughout the UK and Ireland who provide specialist support services to over 100,000 survivors each year.
- 1 in 4 women experience sexual violence
- 1 in 6 men experience sexual violence
- 500,000 children are sexually abused each year
These are not just statistics, but lives changed forever.
The Survivors Trust believe that sexual violence is wrong, and fight for a world where every survivor is believed, supported, and empowered — and where sexual violence is no longer tolerated.
What does The Survivors Trust do?
All of TST’s work is centred around supporting survivors, and the specialist services that support them.
- They provide infrastructure support, specialist forums, networking and representation for their member agencies who provide a range of services for men, women and children who have experienced sexual violence
- They deliver accredited training to members, government agencies, police, health professionals and schools to promote sensitive and trauma-informed responses to survivors
- They run a national Helpline and online empowering groups for anyone affected by sexual violence
- They have an Online ISVA Advisory Service for survivors who do not have access to a local Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA)
- They raise awareness about the prevalence and impact of sexual violence, promoting effective responses to rape and sexual abuse at local, regional and national levels
Where would the donation go?
If The Survivors Trust win our June poll, they’ll receive 20% of our profits for the month. They would use this money to support their free, confidential Helpline for anyone affected directly or indirectly by sexual violence.
Their Helpline is open 7 days a week for people aged 16+, welcoming calls from victims and survivors, their supporters and professionals working with survivors. The service is fully inclusive and supports callers of all ages, genders, ethnicities and sexual orientations from all corners of the UK. Their Helpline offers safe, non-judgemental emotional support, information and advice about all aspects of sexual violence.
TST’s Helpline answers over 11,000 calls each year, and provides a lifeline for people seeking support.
How else you can support
Of course, voting in our poll is the main thing this month, but it’s not the only way to support them.
