Figure out which genre you’d like to embrace and then take it from there. It’s not as easy as picking up the first book that you see and of course, everybody knows that you can’t judge a book by its cover. So that means doing a little bit of research and we help you do that by listing a few of 2016’s favourite books.
Novels
The Girls
Emma Cline’s novel is one that might be close to home as she excellently conveys the difficulties of a young girl. Her great storytelling addresses a number of issues and makes for a though provoking read. A falling out between two girls leads to much more than one would expect and becomes that basis of this book. Enjoy a complete rollercoaster as your mind is blown by this great piece of literature.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
J.K Rowling is at it again, this time with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. This play was originally drafted as a news story and has since evolved into a new Harry Potter book. This is a blessing for many fans after so many have eagerly anticipated the return of their wizard friends.
Cookbook

This energy efficient idea is made easy in this book. It’s designed to inspire health and help shred weight. Discover paleo recipes and find out how easily these types of meals can be prepared.
Non Fiction
Narconomics

This book is based on a number of true events and displays exactly how illegal businessmen would replicate the strategies of huge corporations such as Coca Cola.
Are we Smart Enough to Know how Smart Animals are?
The title itself is rather interesting as it’s a long fought out debate. Time and time again human beings assess animals by their own performance. It is no good testing pigs on their abilities to speak or fish on their ability to walk. This engaging book displays evidence, experiments and much more which showcase exactly how smart animals are. We often overlook the genius of other species and then compare them to us. A very intriguing read, one backed up by science that touches on some controversial subjects too.
