You may have already seen our socials last week, but for those that haven’t, we’re pleased to announce that our September charity poll winners were RoadPeace! After a very competitive month, RoadPeace came in first place with 43% of the votes, and we will be announcing how much we’ll be donating to them in January. Thank you to our amazing users for voting last month, and of course thank you to all four incredible charities for their time and for taking part.
Last month, we also announced the donation amount raised for M.E. Research UK, who were our winners of May’s poll. Thanks to our users, we will be donating £202.84 to this fantastic charity who fund vital medical research into the condition. We’ll also be revealing the donation amount for our June winner very soon too, so stay tuned!

Alzheimer’s Research UK
Alzheimer’s Research UK are the UK’s leading charity for dementia research and fund groundbreaking projects into the condition. Backed by scientists, volunteers and supporters, the research they fund aims to better understand the causes of dementia, work towards earlier diagnosis, reduce people’s risk of developing the condition, and ultimately, effectively treat it. Their ultimate goal? A life-changing treatment for dementia by the year 2025.
Ataxia UK
Ataxia is the collective term for a group of neurological disorders, known to affect speech, balance and coordination. There are numerous types of the condition that can affect people in different ways, but anyone of any age can get it. With only 13% of people in the UK being aware of ataxia, Ataxia UK are on a mission to support, advise and inform those affected by the condition, as well as funding medical research into better treatments and ultimately, a cure. Additionally, the charity raises awareness of the condition and work to improve medical and social care for those affected by it.
Live Life Give Life
Did you know that 80% of organ donors don’t inform their loved ones of their decision? As a result, many families refuse to let the deceased’s organs be donated, even if they’re a registered donor. Every day, 3 people in the UK die waiting for organ transplants, and donation awareness charity Live Life Give Life wants to change that. Through their campaigns and educational projects, the charity wants to get us thinking positively about organ donation, in the hope that more people join the register, and most importantly, inform their loved ones about their decision.
The Somerville Foundation
Completing our October line-up, we have The Somerville Foundation. Since it was founded in 1993, the charity has been there to support adults with congenital heart disease (CHD). They do this through providing accurate and up to date information on everything from physical wellbeing to financial advice, raising awareness of CHD and fighting for patient rights. Additionally, in partnership with the University of Suffolk, The Somerville Foundation also has opened up the UK’s first research centre dedicated to CHD, which focuses on finding more effective ways to treat and support patients.
