Their brain rehabilitation division is there to provide assess and support those who have become disabled as a result of a brain injury, as well as developing studies into them. The charity has also worked with people with physical disabilities for over 30 years, individually assessing the needs of each service user to ensure they are supported in the best way. In addition, they offer tailored autism support through a person-centred approach, allowing people to develop their social, vocational and recreational skills. Launchpad
Launchpad is Reading’s leading homeless prevention charity. Their services work in three different ways: to prevent homelessness, provide homes and to rebuild lives. The charity is there to provide vital support and information to individuals, couples and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The services they provide includes legal support, drop-in sessions, long-term homes and supported housing. In addition, they offer therapeutic activities to help with education, training and employment, as well as allowing people to socialise in a safe environment. Since 2018, Launchpad have helped over 1400 people to get back on their feet and continue to carry out their vital work to those who need it.
Together For Animals
Last but not least, we have Together For Animals. This charity believes that no animal should have to suffer from abuse, neglect or injury, and they work to raise funds for four partner organisations. These much needed funds ensure the safety and care of pets and working animals, not just in the UK but abroad too. Together For Animals fights to ensure that all animals are treated with the care and respect they deserve, find new homes for abandoned pets, and for free veterinary care to animals in some of the world’s poorest countries. In addition, they also campaign for animal welfare to make sure that all animals are able to enjoy happy and healthy lives.
And that’s that - our fab four for August! All that’s left is for you to get voting for your favourite! You have until the 31st of August to cast your vote, and make sure you share the poll with your social media followers too. Not only will you be spreading the word about raising money for good causes, you’ll also be telling them about the amazing savings they’ll find when they shop with My Favourite Voucher Codes. Remember, the more codes used over the month, the bigger the donation to the winning charity! In short, we’ll be helping you to save money, and you’ll be helping us to raise money for even more amazing causes. What’s not to love?
